I have directv, with one dvr already but want to add a second one for the bedroom. I threatened to cancel and they will only lower the hddvr box to $99. They said I’m locked into a contract for 16 more months from my last upgrade which I was never notified of. That makes me more upset.
Anyways, is it possible to get it cheaper upgrade for another hddvr or no?

    the only way to be eligible for a free upgrade is if you have been there customer for a long time and payments are on time and stuff like that. the other option you have is to go to a retail store and leasing one from there or maybe even going on to amazon and searching for dvrs people are always selling there equipment on there.
