Well I don’t wanna use loads of pedals yet. I have a fender squier so thats sorted with the guitar. However on my amp I just can’t get the clapton tone. I have the choice of a clean channel and a drive channel. Gain, treble, middle and bass.
What should I put them on?
And it’s a fender amp by the way

You dont want to use a bunch of pedals? Have you SEEN Eric’s rig? haha honestly though, I think a Tube Screamer or a Boss Blues Driver to a Compressor will give you a pretty good clapton sound.

Try setting the Bass, Midrange, and Trebble all the way up, on the amp. If you have the option of running who channels, run one clean and one with distortion. If you have only one channel available at one time, add some overdrive, but not too much. Add a touch of stereo chorus, again not too much. See how that sounds.
Control your tone from the instrument.

Take a look at this article I found. http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/Features/myth-busters-eric-claptons/ It is spot-on as to how the combination of the player, the guitar, and the amp all had a significant role in that Clapton “Blues Breakers” tone. Also, one good way to get a real blues sound is to use the neck pickup for your rhythm and switch to the bridge pickup for leads. Mess around with those volume and tone controls onboard, thats what they are there for. You’d be surprised how that alone can really shape your tone.

Develop your own sound . You can’t go wrong with that.

Im a huge Clapton fan. I have a strat and I use a boss blues driver to get a “Clapton” tone it is pretty close. My gain is less than 1(or 1 if your amp doesn’t go lower) my treble is on ~3, mid ~8 and bass ~4

It depends on the amp that you are using actually what kind of fender amp have you got , I however do recommend pedals or more multi effects pedal I know Eric doesn’t use that many pedals but pedals like line 6 m13 have a plethora of tones that are identical to famous guitarist like U2 Edge and Clapton, actually Clapton uses a line 4 DL4 according to their site.
