How do I get my iPod library from my home PC to my laptop?

I recently got a new laptop for college. I would love to get all my music (which is on my iPod) onto my laptop without having to individually rip each CD onto it. Is there anyway that I could transfer my iPod music directly to my laptop for free?

    buy a usb cord that u can connect to your computer and to your laptop to transfer the songs. u can find it at like electronic stores, best busy, circuit city, etc. = )

    connect your ipod to your laptop and download itunes then just sync your ipod you wont be able to connect your ipod to your home pc anymore though if you are going to use your ipod on your laptop
