How Do You Record 48 Hours Of Video Using A Dvr?

I want to set up an indoor security system. I need to record from Fri – Sun night so a DVR will fill up and I will need to reformat it to record the following weekend. How do I put it on a disc so it can be viewed at a later time.

    If you have a Replay TV unit (5000 or 5500 series) you can upgrade the hard drive to any size. The recording uses about 1gb per hour. I have several. One is 40 hr, 160 hr, and 250 hr.
    And yes you can stream it back to your computer and burn to disk
