I don’t want to have to run Ethernet lines throughout my house if I don’t have to, but I would like to connect my Dish DVR to my network. The problem is, it needs to be connected via Ethernet, so I’m just not sure what to do.

   You will need to connect it via Ethernet one way or another, but you can create a wireless bridge. Connect the DVR to a router configured as a wireless bridge, then wirelessly connect that router to your network.http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wir…
