How to add new songs in your ipod without deleting the previous ones?

I tried to add new songs in my ipod and when i did that it deleted my all the other songs which were in my ipod already. Please, tell me how can i keep the old songs in my ipod and also add the new ones the same time?? Thanks!

    Connect your Ipod, and when the screen asks if you want to sync it, click no. Then it will appear and just click and drag your songs, ejct, unplug and enjoy@!

    man ive been throuqh this its super frustratinq but its really easy
    okay so make sure that your iPod is only under “Manully manaqe music & videos” make sure that when ask you if you want to earese your music you say no. after that all you do is draq the sonqs you want :D
    & there your done trust me it worked qreat for me

    i just drag songs from limewire and drop them into the little ipod sign.
