They have some simmalarities like how their albums are sort of told as storys in my perspective. Like the whole album is like one song. They both also have strange intermissions between songs. Tool is almost like a heavier pink floyd. Or is this just the style of progressive music?

I recently discovered some classic rock artists who blew me away with their awesome sound and I want to learn more about them. I loved Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine” and Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love”.

Back in the day people were into Pink Floyd….I thought they were completely overrated compared to other bands (i.e. The Beetles or Nirvana). I never got into Pink Floyd and I think they get way more hype than they deserve.
