I went on iTunes, changed my iPod touch’s name, and exit iTunes, and when I looked at my ipod it still says iPod.

Is it like that or is there something wrong with it?

I don’t have the lyrics even though i’ve heard it a thousand of times… it’s sort of an older rock song because im the type of person who listens to pink floyd, aerosmith, etc. but it goes, back off of me, until the i die….

thats the only part i know i don’t know the name of the artist but it sounds like pink floyd or someone around there.

I have a 5th Generation iPod video that I named Bobbi’s iPod. But under the About screen on the iPod, it shows up as BOBBI’S IPO. How do I fix this?

In iTunes, it shows up as Bobbi’s iPod, but on the actual iPod and on My Computer, it shows up as BOBBI’S IPO.

A capsule or ship was sent in to space, many years ago… it contained data, which includes some mathematics, some music (that of Bach and of Pink Floyd) and some photos, along w/ other things… kind of like a Time Capsule, but in Space. Does anyone know the name of that ship or capsule? I remember it being referenced on the X-Files once.

I saw this once on ESPN in the late 90’s. A player with an over-sized driver would hit a golf ball towards a group of players that each held something that looked like a stop sign. These players would attempt to knock the ball down.

For the past year I’ve been compiling famous names to list on my name numerology website.  These are all noted individuals, but who are the most famous?  Today let’s count down the most famous men named David.

The most famous people (based on online chatter) with the first name David are:

10. David Gilmour – Musician (Pink Floyd)

9. David Slade – Director (30 Days of Night, Twilight: Eclipse)

8. David Carradine – Actor (Kung Fu, Kill Bill)

7. David Hasselhoff – Actor and Musician (Knight Rider, Baywatch)

6. David Byrne – Musician with The Talking Heads and Solo (Road to Nowhere, And She Was, Wild Wild Life)

5. David Lynch – Director (Twin Peaks, The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet)

4. David Letterman – Televison Talk Show Host (Late Show with David Letterman)

3. David Cook – Singer (American Idol Season Seven Winner)

2. David Bowie – Musician (Space Oddity, Young Americans, Let’s Dance)

…and the most famous man named David is…

1. David Beckham – Soccer / Football Star

Not making the top 10 list were David Attenborough – BBC Broadcaster and Naturalist, David Duchovny – Actor (The X-Files, Californication), David Mamet – Author, Playwright, Screenwriter (Glengarry Glen Ross, The Verdict, Wag the Dog), David Tennant – Actor (Dr. Who, Casanova, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), David Cross – Comedian, Writer, and Actor (Arrested Development, The Ben Stiller Show), David Crosby – Musician (Crosby, Stils, Nash, and Young; The Byrds; CPR), David Copperfield – Title Character in the Novel by Charles Dickens, David Spade – Actor (Just Shoot Me!, 8 Simple Rules, Rules of Engagement), David Sedaris – Author (Me Talk Pretty One Day, When You Are Engulfed in Flames), David Livingstone – Explorer (Dr Livingstone, I presume?), David Schwimmer – Actor, Director (Friends; Run, Fat Boy, Run), David Stern – NBA Commissioner, David Yates – Director (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), David Copperfield – Stage Magician, David Hockney – Artist and Photographer, David Niven – Actor (Around the World in 80 Days, The Pink Panther), David Lachapelle – Photographer, David Frost – Journaist and Writer (Nixon Interviews).

An excellent mix of occupations for the top ten Davids with one athelete (Beckham), one talk show host (Letterman), two directors (Slade and Lynch), two actors (Carradine and Hasselhoff), four musicians (Gilmour, Byrne, Cook, and Bowie). In this list we have one duplicate name, David Copperfield, who is both a stage magician and the title character in Charles Dickens’ novel “David Copperfield”.

I compiled this list by searching for each of the Davids on a number of search engines and ranking them by the number of web pages, discussion forums, photos, videos, etc that are available online.
