What is harder running or walking a golf course?

Okay, so my brother is in golf, and I’m in cross country so I’m used to running like 10miles a day. But my brother said that it’s harder to walk a golf course than to run it. I know how it feels to run a golf course, because I’ve ran a 3mile golf course. But he swears that it’s harder to walk it. Please, I need people to prove either one of us wrong. Which is harder to do?

What Is More Mentally Demanding, For A Proffessional To Play Golf? Or An Elite Running A Marathon?

I’m trying to see what the public opinion is. I’ve ran a few marathons myself and am very well aware of the not only the physical demands; but also the mental/psychological concentration that a marathoner needs to have in order to do well. I have very limited experience with Golf. But is it accurate to say that Golf has a more mental/psychological demand than running a Marathon? What is your opinion?
