The only one I know of that has a distinguished program is University of Texas at Austin. I’m not sure of their reputation but I know Texas Tech and Texas A&M have architecture programs as well.

You would want to look into accredited architecture schools. With that it will be relatively easier to get your license. To find if your selected schools is accredited go to: http://www.naab.org/schools/search.aspx?searchType=A

Otherwise, from the top of my head I would like to mention:
UCLA (better for the master’s program)
Cal Poly (Pomona or San Luis Obispo…the former is more known for aesthetics- both a good deal on tuition)
    Texas A&M
    Harvard
    Columbia
    USC
    Norte Dame

There are over 115 NAAB schools in the US. anyone of those should be considered “good” this means a degree from these universities can get you licensed as an architect. And remember it is all a matter of what you are interested in. Architecture is a VERY broad field. it depends what you what to concentrate on in the end.
there are several fields that students find interesting.

    pure aesthetics
    construction methods
    sustainability
    historic preservation
    advanced 3d modeling
    scripting
    rapid prototying
    Every school is very different.

NOW if you want GREAT schools that is a little tougher. but here is avery generalized listing. but again you need to look into each program and see what the focus is!!!!

    Harvard
    Columbia
    MIT
    UPenn
    UVA
    Virgina Tech
    Cal poly (Pomona or SLO)
    Sci Arc
    UT Austin
    Rice
