That should keep you busy. I recommend anything from his days with Cream through Derek and the Dominos. He didn’t do anything as a junky and then changed his style. His playing on record wasn’t as in-your-face as his earlier stuff. Then you hear things like Cocaine where he brings his rock n’ roll A-game.
Any live material will showcase his mastery of the guitar.
If you liked that then alot of his earlier stuff you would like.
Stuff like the original version of layla, his version of hound dog, but also listen to the rest of his stuff, not that you’ll get through it all quickly,
Songs like lay down sally, running on faith, fathers eyes, change the world, river of tears, alberta…. the list is endless.
