What are some songs Eric Clapton played on that show his amazing guitar virtuosity?
Either his solo works or others.

While my Guitar Gently Weeps, by the Beatles…
They asked him to play guitar for the song, because they wanted his “slowhand” style for the leads
I think his classic songs where he exhibits his skills are Spoonful, Before You Accuse Me, and Crossroads. Here’s a good link to a montage of Clapton solos

His solos in “White Room”, “Tales of Brave Ulysses”, and “Crossroads” are pretty darn good, in my opinion. He uses his wah pedal extensively in those first two songs. There are probably a lot more songs that he played on that showcases his playing ability, but I usually just listen to what he did with Cream in the 60’s.
‘Layla’ without a doubt his best song ever!
