    most newer projectors are dlp which is far better than lcd, refresh rates are alot higher and can handle fast video without jumpy video. thats why alot of gamers use dlp over lcd. prices are all about the same though, but if you choose a projector its all about size of the screen you want and how dark is your room. you want to pay attention to contrast ratios and lumens
